Tommy Pichet is Fellow of both of the UK Institute of Actuaries and USA Society of Actuaries. He has around two-decade international working experience in actuarial and insurance consulting in UK, USA, Thailand, and Cambodia with globally reputed consulting houses like Mercer and recently an extension in Bangladesh. He holds a bachelor degree in Engineering, MBA (City University, Hong Kong), FRM, and Master of Science in Financial Engineering with distinction. He had been an appointed actuary in many companies over the globe.
Tommy Pichet’s extensive expertise and consultation includes both Life and Non-life insurance, Employees’ Benefit Schemes and Pension, Risk management, and investments in relation to valuation, management, pricing, and strategies. Alongside, Tommy is a Financial Engineer and a financial data scientist.
Tommy Pichet directly supervises the actuarial assignments and reviews the actuarial report, and signs off the report.

MahfuZ is a part qualified actuary and active member of the Institute & Faculty of Actuary (UK) and a certified financial engineer of USA, and has trained with the Institute of actuaries of Japan (IAJ) through ASEA. He attended international actuarial conferences in different countries in the East and South Asia. He holds a B.Sc. (Hon’s) and M.S. in Pure Physics from the University of Dhaka. He also holds a Master degree in Actuarial Science and a separate Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University, USA.
Dr. Faisal Ahmed

Dr. Faisal Ahmed, PhD, P.Eng., PMP, is a master-class expert in data-driven decision-making and forecasting, distinguished for his contributions in automation within science, engineering, and technology. He is a prominent figure in urban transportation planning in Canada, known for his impactful professional work. Currently, he is eager to support Bangladesh in advancing data analytics, model development, and the automation of economic-financial-business models through his role at Actuarial Sense, where he serves as an advisor in data analytics, FinTech, and automation processes.
Dr. Ahmed is a senior specialist and forecaster in transportation data for the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. His extensive expertise spans multiple roles as an academic, a professional engineer, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With around seventeen years of experience in analytics and research across the UAE, Canada, and now extending to Bangladesh, Dr. Ahmed’s credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BUET), a Master’s degree in Management (Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden), a PhD in
Engineering (UAE University), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management (Toronto, Canada).
He has taught at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) as a lecturer and at the University of Western Ontario as an assistant professor. His research work at UAE University and TMU focused on data analytics. In his professional career, he has held positions at prestigious organizations, where he led initiatives in Python-based automated forecasting systems and demonstrated leadership in technical areas.
Ronjon Kundu

Ronjon Kundu is a distinguished expert in data engineering and business intelligence specialist. He is a Member of both Data Science Association of Australia, and Australian Computer Society (ACS). His main area of focus includes results-driven Data Analyst with a strong foundation in data science, software engineering, and statistical analysis, backed by over a decade of experience in data-driven decision-making, system optimization, and process automation. Adept at leveraging tools like SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to extract, transform, and visualize complex datasets. With around eight years of experience in academic space (University of Information technology & Sciences, International University of Scholars) as faculty position in several universities’ CSE and IT departments. His standing includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering, a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from East West University, and recently second Maser degree in Data Science from the University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia. He implemented couple of projects including NLP and ML algorithms to enhance search accuracy and efficiency by 60% for Australian Government Department of Finance.
Taslima Parvin

Taslima Parvin is an accomplished data scientist with expertise in applying data-driven solutions for CRM and Financial Analytics. She brings specialized skills in Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning to optimize decision-making in these domains. Recently, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Database Application Development from Seneca College in Toronto. Additionally, she holds an Applied Data Science certification from MIT and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming, with a strong foundation in mathematics.
In her role at Actuarial Sense, Taslima supports the advisor in automating processes and transforming traditional models into efficient, Python-based solutions. She has successfully applied machine learning techniques in CRM to enhance customer segmentation, churn prediction, and personalized marketing. In Financial Analytics, she focuses on fraud detection, credit scoring, and dynamic pricing.
Taslima’s three years of experience in Bangladesh and the U.S. have equipped her with strong skills in data quality, governance, and advanced analytics. Her technical toolkit includes MS SQL, Python, R, TensorFlow, Pandas, and Scikit-learn. Mohammad Amjad Hossain

Amjad is a reputed professional in the financial sphere in Bangladesh for more than 15 years and very instrumental in financial and risk analysis in Banking and finance industry. He worked for around 3 years in actuarial discipline and during his work he was responsible from data cleansing and validation process to financial analysis of the valuation figures besides initial stage valuation working. He usually works at the back office and leads the back office in every actuarial and financial assignment passionately and productively with risk assessment, mitigation, and management line.
Amjad is writing CFA Level II besides his continuation in Financial Engineering Master degree Course. Moreover, he is a CSAA (AAOIFI) since 2022. He is a very dynamic professional and trained in credit rating, credit risk management, SME, CIB reporting, Anti-ML, Project appraisal and management, and etc. He holds a B.Sc. (Hon’s) and M.S. in Pure Physics from the University of Dhaka. He also holds a Master degree in Telecommunication Engineering from East West University, Bangladesh.
Amjad has accumulated a breadth of financial and risk related consulting experience in Bangladesh, engaging with many big funds of industrial clients in the country. Prior to this he worked in Actuarial assignments for around 3 years, telecommunication industry for 1 and a half year, in banking industry for more than 12 years.
Md Abu Hassan Nayeem
B.Eng. in IT (Hon’s)
Nayeem is a young and energetic. He is a fresh graduate in Information Technology and a data analyst in Bangladesh. He worked for around some months as an intern in a data analysis oriented office. He was responsible from data cleansing and validation process to analyze the data for the purposes of the other part of the back office. He usually works at the back office and support the team in every actuarial and financial assignment productively with fitted data for the actuarial purposes in employee benefits and life insurance assignments.
Nayeem is a certified Google Data Analytics and certified by IBM for Exploratory Data Analysis for Machine Learning. He also has Excel Skills for Business: Essentials from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia by Courseera. He holds a B.Sc. (Hon’s) Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Information Technology & Sciences, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Alongside, Nayeem is a good programmer and his expertise is extended to prominent programming language including C++, R, Java, Python, and SQL. In Actuarial Sense, he is extendedly and partially involved in the dedicated financial models, actuarial models to revisit.
Nayeem is the data analyzer of the assignment related to actuarial & insurance works.
